October is Pastor Appreciation month and we are excited to get the opportunity to bless our Shiloh pastors and shower appreciation on them!

We are so thankful for Pastor Greg's and Pastor Ed's leadership and unwavering faith that has encouraged us all to keep our eyes on Jesus.
In 1 Timothy 5:17 it says, "Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching." Paul highlights the fact that our Pastors should be considered worthy of double honor for assuming this role in His church and doing it well. But, typically with double honor you can expect double stress. This is why we need to make an even greater effort to celebrate and encourage those in leadership. This is the one time during the year where we are reminded to consider our Pastors, think specifically about their needs and how you personally, or we as a congregation, can encourage them and their family.
Here are two ways you can share your appreciation:
1. Write a note of thanks or scripture of encouragement for Greg or Ed. For the rest of October, you are welcome to bring your card and/or gift to Shiloh and we'll get it to Greg or Ed. We'll also have cards every Sunday at the Connect Center that you can take home or write and leave. You're welcome to mail your letter/card too! (55 Edmond St. Manchester, 03102)
2. Email Greg or Ed a note of thanks and appreciation.You might be a especially thankful for a time they helped you or touched your life. Put it in writing, it will mean a lot to them! (greg@shilohcommunity.church | ed@shilohcommunity.church)
3. Send them out for lunch or dinner. Greg & Ed meet with so many people outside of Sundays who need help. We know they love this ministry! But it's nice to be treated sometimes. Offer to send them out with their wives for a lunch or dinner as an appreciation.
Of course, you can show your appreciation any way you like! We hope you'll take a little time to let Greg or Ed know how much their leadership means to you. Thank you for being part of Pastor Appreciation Month at Shiloh!
